With the Tumblr purge, NG became an instant go-to site, with their friendly and welcoming layouts and easy-going mentality. It feels like I'm back in 2002, but with better graphics. Thanks for reigniting my nostalgia, NG!
I like to commission 18+ art. Tumblr refugee, bringing my collection over.

@SusanCalvin @Gee-Bump It is a crowd-sourced filter. I think Newgrounds needs them to sort through the material coming in. I'm not sure how artists organise as a collective, if you cross-reference one another to raise awareness of new stuff.
I try to give new artists some evaluation. There’s even a link for it here.
Welcome back to Newgrounds! :-D
Thank you! The layout is so nice and easy on the eyes.
@SusanCalvin @Gee-Bump Discerning tastes? I think fans will follow an artist they know, no problem. I just wonder how smaller artists will do. I think there must be some space for people who aren't semi-professional yet.
Absolutely. And as I went to check on said link for new artists, it's gone. Or obscured. Hmm...
No problem. ;-)
Newgrounds has certainly undergone some refinements over the years, yeah. Member pages look a bit cleaner than they did before. :-)
@SusanCalvin @Gee-Bump @Gee-Bump If you find it, repost.
I absolutely will. 8)
@SusanCalvin @SusanCalvin Apparently, it’s called Unscouted submissions:

@Gee-Bump There's stuff there and I can view it alright. A mix of rather awful sketches and 3D attempts and some decent new people. Mostly awful.
That IS true. A lot of garbage, but some pieces are decent enough. That is the main good thing I can say, it’s like panning for gold.

2002 Newgrounds or 2002 tumblr? There's been a couple overhauls of the site. Things are a bit flooded right now, with plenty of people coming over to set up shop. I hope people aren't getting overlooked in the stream. I think the public voting mechanism (which I think weeded out substandard flash creations back in the days) should be new compared to your hold home.

2002 NG. I don't think Tumblr was even active back then. And yeah, the public voting system I do remember from way back when. I voted on different Flash videos which was the big thing with NG back in the 2000s. Gonna be fun to see how things turn out with audiences seeing works I've commissioned, that's really exciting. It's not just likes in Tumblr, it's more discerning tastes.
